The basic, no-frills double-ender box with a normal fragility rating of 40-80 G, the black Pelican Hardigg BB0030 BlackBox 3U Rack Mount box is intended for applications involving up to 100 pounds of equipment. It is a small, lightweight polyethylene roto-molded box with shock-mounts that give the equipment a 2" sway buffer. A 24" tough steel rack frame with M6 threads that complies with ANSI/EIA 310 standards is offered. The rack is designed to offer an electronics enclosure that is both mobile and secure. The design of the molded-in ribs allows for interlocking and secure stacking. Transport is made simple by two built-in wheels, four wide handles, and a comfort-grip design.
