When an MBS is properly built, a technician can service a UPS during regular business hours without having to turn off your vital electrical load. The UPS will continue to draw power from the mains when it is in the "Bypass" mode, allowing the technician to carry out maintenance tasks while the load is still being supplied by the raw mains.
