The Instant On 1430 has a 2Mb packet buffer and 128kb of EEPROM memory to provide a switching capability of 16 Gbps and a throughput of up to 11.90 Mpps. Easy deployment to a tabletop is made possible by a desktop form factor, and wall and under-table mounting are supported using the base surface mounting holes.
