The VM8804 4-Port HDMI Output Board by ATEN is an advanced AV routing solution that integrates seamlessly into the VM1600 or VM3200 Modular Matrix Switch systems. It enables flexible signal routing of HDMI sources to up to four displays and supports HDMI (3D, Deep Color) and HDCP 1.4 standards.
With Seamless Switch™ technology, the VM8804 provides real-time video switching and uninterrupted signal transmission. Each output port features a built-in scaler, allowing the board to adjust video resolutions to suit connected displays. Additionally, EDID Expert and an integrated EDID wizard ensure quick and stable display negotiation for optimal performance. Audio is fully supported with HDMI audio extraction and stereo embedding via 5-pole captive screw connectors.
The VM8804’s hot-swappable design and CEC support make it a powerful component in control rooms, broadcast systems, and AV infrastructure requiring dynamic display management and high signal integrity.
