The DWA-643 Wireless N ExpressCard Notebook Adapter is a 802.11n client device for notebooks with an ExpressCard slot available. It is faster than 802.11g wireless adapters with the added benefit of ExpressCard technology.
ExpressCard technology offers several advantages over the legacy CardBus interface, such as a smaller form factor, better speed between the adapter’s board and the host computer and in addition has lower power requirements, translating in longer battery time for notebook systems. The adapter comes in the smaller size of the two available in the ExpressCard specification, making it suitable for either type of slots.
