Optcore’s OSP1250-8505DCR-IBM is a high performance and cost effective small form factor pluggable (SFP) transceiver for 1000BASE-SX Gigabit Ethernet and 1G Fiber Channel application. It is fully comply with the SFP Multi-Sourcing Agreement (MSA) and can be used on the MSA compliant networking equipment.

The 1000BASE-SX SFP transceiver is tested to be compatible with IBM networking equipment including Ethernet Switches, Ethernet Routers, Network Interface Cards (NICs) and Media Converters. The SFP transceiver is an ideal equivalent to IBM 81Y1622 1000BASE-SX 850nm MMF 550m SFP Transceiver but with a much lower price, which provides a reliable compatible SFP transceiver solution for system integrator, distributors and end-users in network infrastructure and fiber cabling.
