The 55 NEC X551UN takes your customers LCD video walls to new levels of impact. This professional-grade large-screen display is designed for the rigors of 24/7 operation while introducing new levels of impact to your facility. Advanced technologies of this model include direct LED backlighting for improved uniformity, full high-definition resolution (1920 x 1080) and a 5.5mm distance between active screen areas. Additionally, this display can be deployed in video walls up to 10x10 (100 displays). The X551UN also offers Intels Open Pluggable Specification (OPS), which is the first industry-wide standardization in option slots that allows easier installation, use and maintenance of digital signage.

LED Edge-lit Display
Enables a mere 1.7” unit depth, creating installation opportunities in even the tightest of spaces
Thermal Protection Panel
Starts with an extra thermal layer on the display panel to diffuse heat, followed by a fan-based technology specifically designed to work in both landscape and portrait modes and be controlled locally or remotely. Internal temperature sensors control self-protective circuits, while special self-diagnostics communicate the status of thermal characteristics.
TileMatrix™
Allows users to customize a video wall configuration using advanced On Screen Display controls.
TileComp™
Automatically eliminates geometrical distortions between displays by adjusting for the width of the monitor bezels, working in tandem with TileMatrix on NEC displays (some data on the screen will be lost in the area of the bezels).
CableComp™
Equalizes the video signal to eliminate color halos on long cable runs.
Carbon Footprint Meter
Informs and motivates responsible use of the display by calculating and tracking the conservation of green gas emissions in real time.
Built-In Expansion Slot
Allows for seamless integration of current and future NEC accessories and third-party components.
Advanced Cooling System
Prevents the likeliness of image retention and improves color uniformity.
Round-The-Clock Scheduler
Allows for advanced scheduling of monitor powering up/down, increasing panel lifetime, reducing power consumption and saving the time and expense of finding and purchasing a third-party scheduling solution.
